Update Debian 9 to Debian 10

As Direct Admin update writes that Debian 9 is going soon to be discounted, can anybody help me to update to Debian 10 version?

better to reinstall to debian 11

Generally speaking I'd advise against in-place upgrades, and to backup all your DirectAdmin accounts to an off-site server, and then reinstall your operating system with Debian 10 or 11, and finally, restore the accounts.

Whilst technically speaking, in-place upgrades "work", I just find in order to minimize the chance of bugs, a clean install is better. From a security perspective, a clean install isn't bad practice either.

Although reinstalling and migrating would indeed be cleaner, we've upgraded a lot of Directadmin servers succesfully from Debian 8 to 10/11, using the commands in the link below:

Best to always take an image backup first of course.
