update exim.conf but keep settings

I have read about using /etc/exim.strings.conf.custom and /etc/exim.variables.conf.custom but I am using a remote smtp

I have changes in
ROUTERS CONFIGURATION'
TRANSPORTS CONFIGURATION'
AUTHENTICATION CONFIGURATION'

Is it possible to have CB2 update exim.conf and not have these values overwritten?
