Update probleme from 1.27.x to 1.28 on FreeBSD 6.1

Hello,

We've trying to update our 1.27 DirectAdmin to 1.28 version,
the update process seems to be well done.

See directadmin.log :

2006:10:09-17:24:55: Update of software successfull!
2006:10:09-17:24:55: signal TERM received. Waiting for children to exit
2006:10:09-17:24:55: Clean shutdown successful
2006:10:09-17:24:56: directadmin restarted
2006:10:09-17:24:56: directadmin started
2006:10:09-17:25:21: directadmin restarted



but when trying to restart directadmin, we have the following message:

#/usr/local/etc/rc.d/directadmin status
directadmin dead but subsys locked
# /usr/local/etc/rc.d/directadmin start
Starting DirectAdmin: [ OK ]
/usr/local/directadmin/directadmin: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
#


When trying to start directadmin directly,, we obtain the following message :

#cd /usr/local/directadmin/
#./directadmin d
ELF binary type "0" not known.
./directadmin: Exec format error. Binary file not executable.

#./directadmin
ELF binary type "0" not known.
./directadmin: Exec format error. Binary file not executable.

Maybe there are a problem in the binary file...

So, we need help very quickly...

Strange, we upgraded to 1.28 on multiple 6.1 boxes without these issues.

Hi sebastien,

Are you sure you have registered correct OS+version for your DA license? It looks like it have fetched wrong binary.
