Updated proftpd and now cannot connect via FTP

Running CentoOS 5.5 with ProFTPd 1.3.4a

DA shows the proftpd service running, but I cannot connect to the server via FTP.

The /etc/proftpd.passwd file is populated appropriately.

How can I figure out what's going on and/or fix this?

Updated the /etc/proftpd.conf file and problem fixed.
