Updating server software

I know DA installs his own stuff like MySQL, perl, proftpd, exim, sendmail, webalizer.

How should we keep this stuff current ? Does DA produce RPMs when there is a newer version available ? If so, how do I know when there is a new RPM and where to I download it ?

If not, I guess I need to recompile the stuff myself but I'm afraid to break DA.

Things like apache and php can be easily recompiled with our customapache script:

As for the other services, we store rpms and tbz files on our files server. Select your OS from the list of directories
