Current my server OS is CENTOS 4.5 with php v 4.3.9.

How do i upgrade it to php v 4.4.7 in the easiest way?

cd /usr/local/directadmin/customapache
./build update
./build clean
./build php y

This will update to PHP4.4.7

Ouch...it seems you installed php using yum!
DA builds its own php, etc.

Are you sure you're running DirectAdmin?
