upgrading node

Hi,
I am using

Cenots 7.7
 node -v
v14.16.0
npm -v
6.14.11
pm2 -v
4.2.3
and nginx & httpd

need to upgrade node to v16.13.2.
it is possible to use https://github.com/Schniz/fnm with directadmin?
or just using nvm to control it(need to install it)- ( for now all installed using yum and customized manually )

Install a little helper called 'n'

sudo npm install -g n
Install latest stable Node.js version

sudo n stable
Alternatively pick a specific version and install like this:

sudo n 0.8.20

can close this
