uploading a file to the root directory of my site

Hello there,
I want to upload Alexa_verification_file to the root directory of my site.
using the DirectAdmin, how can I upload a file to the root directory of my site?
Address_Bar always shows something before the mere name of my site in the URL.
I need to post a file to my www.iranmozayedeh.com/
where as using the file_manager from DirectAdmin gives me the following URL for the root which was not verified by Alexa.
http://176.9.46.240:2222/CMD_FILE_MANAGER/domains/iranmozayedeh.com
how can I FTP to the http://www.iranmozayedeh.com/

You can best use an ftp program. If you want a free program, use Filezilla.

ftp to ftp.iranmozayedeh.com
You the username and password you got for Directadmin.
Upload to the public_html directory
