uploading problems

Hi...I've recently started to get problems accessing my website. I uploaded pages to my site & the following day when I tried to access the site, some pages loaded but minus some images...some pages loaded but were older versions, not the recently uploaded ones...and some pages didn't load at all.
I've checked in the File Manager, and all the recent uploaded pages & images are in my Public/html folder, and appear to be fine when I preview them.
I've tried re-uploading them, but when online I still get the same problems???
 
If you're sure you made the upload the correct public_html directory, then the problem is most likely your browser cache.

Yep the uploads are all in the Public/html folder...and all preview ok.
Interestingly, it only seems to be jpg images that don't show...gif images are fine.
Also the problem is ONLY on my website http://www.steph-angel.co.uk would this also point to a browser cache problem???

I've deleted all temporary internet files, but still no joy
 
Steph, the site looks fine to me. No broken images or empty spaces at all.

I use Mozilla 1.2.1 on my RHL9 desktop.

I found some problems, Steph...

The left-side links don't lead to anything.

Or rather, they lead to subdirectories.

For example, I find I can't get into the "/me/" subdirectory.

Either you should be linking to a specific html file inside that directory, or you should have an index.html file inside that directory that will appear automatically when linking to the directory.

yeah I understand.....the links down the left-hand side all DID work, but have since stopped.
I have recently changed that side of the page...all of the 'roll-over image' links have now been changed to flash buttons. But for some reason the old index.html page keeps coming up without the flash buttons.
The new index.html page is in my Public/html folder but doesn't appear online.
I've just noticed that my Public/html folder has 'apache' for it's GID, and not my username....could this be a possible cause for the recently uploaded pages to be blocked???
