Uploading the database

The file is in sql format. I have tried both direct injection and importing which have given me the following errors respectively.

Imports- #1044 - Access denied for user 'dalceduc_learn'@'localhost' to database 'adm'

direct injection - drop database statements are disabled.

What could be the problem here. I completely do not know how to use the shell command please give me a detailed instructions.

But the zipped file size is 539KBs, is this very large?


Would it help if i attached the zipped database file with this message?

Please help urgently.

No the file is small. Use phpmyadmin to import the sql file. You will find a link to it in your control panel in the MySQL databases area.

I have tried that several times now,but it is not working.

I think the problem is on your side,could you please check on it.

I have no side because you are not my client or anyone else on this forum (well I guess it is possible). This forum is not the support forum for your web host. This forum is for the control panel (Directadmin) that your web host uses on it's servers. Most of the people here are web hosts and developers that also use Directadmin.
I was simply trying to help you out anyway.

Sounds like you need to get in touch with your web host.

You'll need to contact your hosting company to help you. This site is mainly used by those of us who use DirectAdmin to manage our servers, but only the folk who manage the server you host on can help you.
