Hello.
This morning exim didn't seem to be working on my server, and I found lots of this sort of message in the system messages log:
I restarted the box, all seemed fine.
But now any php mail scripts can't send mail to any local domains (contact forms - etc) with this in system messages:
have checked that my /etc/virtual/domains file is still intact – which it is.
If I understand correctly it is that sendmail doesn’t know the domain is local, and once it looks up the MX record for the domain it sees it point to itself and then fails.
Can anybody point me in a direction of what to look at?
