Dear other DirectAdmin users,

I have a stragne problem.
Whan i create a new domain in the user "admin" the new domain gets onley 1 NS (ns5.mortydot.com)

All other resellers ore users I create with reseller "admin" work just fine....

In the DirectAdmin all options are set correct for the 2 nameservers.

Does anyone know the answer?
Thanks in advantage!

Nobody?

I think this should not be normal...
Are there any configuration files which I can view to check some things?

Okey, good, but where cant i find these? *excuse*

But the template files... All new users and resellers are good.... it is just in the admin user account.

Thanks for your replay! :)

Then it's most likely not a template issue. It is possible to manipulate templates to change DNS zone files, but it's not for the faint of heart, and I've only done it when all the zones needed changes, so I'm not going to recommend it or support it for you.

I believe you'll have to make the changes manually.

Okey, now some time later. I can now specifikly tell what the problem is.

*every domain has a domein.ext.db file
*all domains created by USER (not reseller or admin) admin have a incorrect line

@ IN SOA ns5.mortydot.com root.domain.com

This has to be

@ IN SOA ns1.mortydot.com root.domain.com

If i change the .db file of named, the problem is solved.
But i don't want to change every .db file my admin user creates ;)
What file does DirectAdmin use to create a domain of this user?

If i know where I can find this file, I can change this myself.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that is the solution.

Thanks for the person who can help me finish this thing!

Thanks in advantage,
Sven

Problem is solved!

The problem was in the following file: usr local dirctadmin data users admin
File: user.conf

ns1=ns5.mortydot.com
ns2=ns5.mortydot.com

Changed ns1 :-)

Thanks for everyone for there replay and help in this topic!
