user level mysqlbackup.gz display instead of download

Hi guys,

Our users complain of the following:

when they make a mysql backup, and click on the 'download' link, apache shows the .gz with all the garbled text, instead of offering a download link.

How can I fix it for all users? through a fake mime type?

I'm having the same issue.

I would suspect a mimetype is missing, but would rather get some advice from anyone

Any suggestions ?

Oh, interestingly enough, IE7, when clicking with right button to Save As... IE replaces .tg with .htm

incase that helps any...
