User Statistics / Quota Not Showing After Backup

Hi,

Boot sector of my server crashed the other day - so had to back everything up and put it all back on the server.

I didn't do the recovery and reinstallation my provider did, however I have fixed HTTPD & PROFTP after that wouldn't start.

Now, the reseller & reseller user Quota / User Statistics / Or that the user even exists are not showing,

Are the permissions which have to be changed?

What method did you use to create and restore the backups?

The system within DA is how my provider did it.

I cannot tell you any more as they did it not me and currently cannot get ahold of them.

I recently migrated servers between 2 boxes, and one user was not being counted. John told me the following:

"My only guess would be that he's not in:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/reseller/users.list

where reseller is the account that created the user... eg "admin".

After adding the users over there everything started working right away.

Sorry to double post - however I have the users showing now, just cannot got the Resellers or Admins to show, still showing the same error.

Any suggestions?

Try to be sure the resellers/admins are in:

/usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/admin.list
/usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/reseller.list

Or their proper admin account. Other than that I really have no idea.

Nope, still showing as Error Reading Files... I'm curious on permissions of the files.

Hi,

I've some what resolved the issue.

The account names were in the users.list files, however I created a new user called test and all details started to show again.

Strange, but now just need to fix AwStats.
