hi, alot of my clients are complaining that they feel the username is too short. some of them especially want atleast 14 characters.

Currently, users are limited to 10 characters.
it really hinders the users to keep the username they always use in daily basis.

is there any way to increase the username char limit to 14?

I dont see what the problem is. Cpanel is 8 for instance, whats the problem with 10?

If the username were increased to 14 then you would limited to the mysql usernames to 1 unique character. Mysql usernames are the DA username plus a _ and then whatever characters after that. Mysql is limited to 16 characters. That is one reason why DA limits usernames to 10.

Mysql is limited to 16 characters.

I should have been more clear. I assumed since we were talking about usernames it would have been clear. Mysql usernames are limited to 16 characters.
