I'm using rdiff-backup to create incremental backups of users files in a custom directory like /diffbaks/.
Directadmin calculate the size of these backups in user's quote because the owner of the folder (/diffbaks/username) is the same as the user and group of related home directory.
I know that changing the owner of /diffbaks can help me through but I want avoid changing anything on user's files,
So is there any other way to exclude a folder from user's quota other than changing the owner?
Any help would be much appreciated.

To expand on what SeLLeRoNe said, instead of using /diffbaks as a folder, create it as a new partition.
This should be possible to do on a live file system, assuming you have enough space.
Use google to search on how to do it... but be very careful when editing your /etc/fstab or making any partition changes.. as you don't want to break what's currently there.
