I currently have a server running on Fedora core 4 which is no longer being supported apparently and have been advised to change the OS to Centos.

I will have DA installed on this new OS, this may seem a stupid question to those of you who are in the know, but can I use a backup taken by DA in Fedora to reinstall stuff on my new OS?

I am not really into sever management and am trying to reduce workload and confusion.

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can restore backups made on any system that runs DA.

Thanks for the reply, I was not sure if it would cause problems by trying to restore stuff that was relevant to Fedora as well.

Can I set it to restore all my databases, configurations and websites?

Yes, use "Admin Backup/Transfer" for databases and websites and "System backup" for configurations.
