I have switched away from apache to different web server litespeed and every 5 minute i get The service httpd is currently down.

How can it show that it using litespeed instead of httpd now so i wont get these error emails anymore every 5 minute?

I dont want to to turn it off completely i just want the da to know im using diff web server

Thanks Smtalk,

I looked at that file and it says,
directadmin=ON
exim=ON
httpd=ON
mysqld=ON
named=ON
proftpd=ON
sshd=ON
dovecot=ON
dovecot=ON

so if i have added litespeed, how do i tell it to monitor litespeed instead of httpd?

and why is there two dovecots

I dont know why but on a different server i just setup,

i have httpd=OFF

and it keeps starting apache whenever litespeed web server goes down

how can this be?

Old thread and normally I would not re-activate it I have 100% the exact situation. I changed to OpenLitspeed and now I keep getting the same warnings.

I tried to set it to OFF:

cat /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/services.status | grep httpd
httpd=OFF

Still on the service monitoring page HTTPD is listed as stopped. Not sure what is happening (and why the default scripts do not take care of this. Maybe a bug?
