Good afternoon,

I've a customer who runs a mailserver with SMTP connection. The antispam check is done by a 3th party vendor who has serious problems (email is delivered days later etc).

My question: is it possible to use the spam assassin in Directadmin and then forward the mail to the mailserver via SMTP (instead of POP3)?

And if so - how should this be set up?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

then forward the mail to the mailserver via SMTP (instead of POP3)?

Mail is ALWAYS forwarded via SMTP.

The trick is to get it scanned by SpamAssassin first before it forwards.

Well... that's my question.. how to scan it before it is forwarded..
