Hello,

I have a simple question:
Is it possible to use variables ($weekday) in the remotepath? For e.g. the numbers of the day's of the week (1-7)?

Or is it more convenient to just create seven different cronjobs, one for each day of the week?

Huh? Your screenshot is missing something.
Just below that "/remote path" you have the port, secureftp option and a "append to path" pulldown. That contains stuff like "day of the month" or "day of the week" or the weeknumber.

Did you miss that? Or do you mean something else?

Ah never mind... you would need 7 crons indeed... I now see what you mean, sorry.

No I think I still need some clarification, LoL. :)

Wouldn't it be just what you want, if you create 1 cronjob which makes a backup every day, and then just use the "day of the week" from the pulldown? This way you get your backups seperated by every seperate day from the week in the remote path. With only 1 cron file.

You don't have to, just append Day of Week path, it will create backup for each day with 1 cron !

In your backup directory you will see this directory generated after few days:
Monday
Tuuesday
Wednesday
.... and so on

@Active8
Only in Evolution, i thought?

Update
I've switched to Evolution, and i have used the append-selectbox.
Tomorrow i will check if it works :)

I hadn't noticed that, to be honest.
Oh well, using Evolution isn't that bad either.
