I see a couple of problems with the way DA deals with vacation messages.

1)We cannot edit the subject. A Sender will get ->Autoreply:$subject. This may not mean much to some users using a foreign language per example.

2)There is a huge Warning in english at the top of the reply :
------ ------

This message was automatically generated by email software
The delivery of your message has not been affected.

------ ------

It would be great if we (admin and/or user) could edit that text or chose to remove it.

This can be done at server level by editing the transport vacation in

/etc/exim.conf

If Mail Scanner has been installed, it should probably be in

/etc/exim_outgoing.conf

(or something like that, depending on MailScanner installation)

====================

my request/suggestion is to have the subject and warning message managed by DA at domain level

This can be done by putting hte subject text and warning somewhere in /etc/virtual/<domain>/

And modifyaing DA for vacation and autoreply interface.

Thenk you for considering,

Michel Lo
