I was just wondering if there was an RSS/Atom/RDF feed available for the DirectAdmin versions

I was just thinking it might be useful, though there might be other ways to get this information.

I could do it myself, but I find screen scraping a rather nasty means of getting things done. So if DA could provide this information it would be a lot smoother.

What exactly are you looking for?

There's already a mailing list for notification of new version releases; search the forum for the join information.

perhaps make the relevant post sticky, I was unaware of the mailing list.

I'd have to find it first ;) .

So just give me an idea of where (under which forum) I should do it and I'll create a sticky post with the information.

Write to:

[email protected]

with the body:

subscribe da_announce

Since majordomo doesn't need the subject it's not important; if your mail requires it, put in anything you want.

It's a double-opt-in list, so you'll have to respond to an email to be added to the list.

It's my list but only John posts to it, and it's incredibly low traffic.

Sorry; I didn't recall the listname correctly. I must be getting old.

:)

I got my copy, and it's also on the server.

Generally our server doesn't get into blocklists as we're a known player in the anti-spam community.

But it could happen.

Have you whitelisted the DirectAdmin support email address? Or our server da1.ns-one.net ?

Hence why I mention about RSS to avoid such problems. Something that is offically coming from DA and not a third party.

I don't see you on any blacklist:

empowering,

It is officially coming from DA; only they post to the list. Of course you can contact them and ask them to set up something themselves instead of using what we've provided them. I promise we won't mind.

:)
