Hi all,

I have a question about virtual environment.
i want to combine all my linux web servers to one "big" server with virtual environment.
I am using centos 6.x 64bit + directadmin on my servers and each on have diffrent versions of php mysql etc...
it will run shared hosting.

the "big" server is hp 360 g7
2x e5645 (six core)
64gb ram
4x600gb sas (raid 10)

what do you recommend OPENVZ OR KVM OR ESXI ?
i need the environment to work fast ...

today the servers are old
IBM X336 servers

I run VMware ESXi and I have been very happy so far... No problems and it is very stable in my opinion.

I have never tried OpenVZ or KVM, so I cannot comment about those ones.

Apparently Proxmox is very good too, but never tried it.

Dont waste your time esxi caps you at 32gb per server without paying fees. You also are limited to 2 physical processors and can only give each vm up to 8 cpu cores only.
