The easy way to do that is with a domain pointer. Set it as an alias if you don't want the URL to change. Search these forums for other differences between using it as an alias and not using it as an alias.

If you don't have that setting in your control panel, then if you're not the server administrator check with your administrator or hosting company.

If it's your server check your skin and your package.

Apologies for reviving an old thread, but I'm facing a similar issue. I set up a domain pointer (alias) in DirectAdmin, but it's not appearing in my domain's httpd.conf after a fresh installation. Has anyone encountered this before? Any suggestions on how to resolve it?

I’ve already tried running ./build rewrite_confs multiple times, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. The alias still isn’t working nor appearing in my httpd.conf. Is there anything else I might be missing?

May you show the page from directadmin which would show the added alias as well as httpd.conf of the user with the domain?

It turns out that our config template files had been modified or corrupted somehow, which was preventing the alias from appearing in httpd.conf. We resolved the issue by restoring the correct template files from one of our system backups.

If anyone else runs into a similar problem, it might be worth checking the integrity of your template files and restoring them if necessary.

Thanks for the help!
