My vm-pop3d is stalling because one IP manages to claim all available vm-pop3d processes all the time.

Is there a solution to avoid this? Where can de settings for the vm-pop3 deamon be found?

Coun anyone help me please?

Frans,

Try to stop the 'xinetd' service, start vmpop3, start xinetd. Does this work?

I blocked the IP that caused the stalling and it works fine now. I just do not want this to happen again, so I'm looking for ways to allow more processes of vm-pop3 to run when needed or to limit the number of connections from a certain IP.
