This first came to our attention by a client of ours who said he had to reconnect after every single message to get all his emails. He only has this problem with our service. The exact same client setup (Nokia N95 8Gb) does pop all the messages at another provider.
2 days ago we finally got our N95 8Gb's in, so we decided to test it out for ourselves.
This is what /var/log/maillog says:
Only 1 message makes it across.
Moving the pop from the daemon itself to inetd doesn't make any difference. Still only 1 message at a time.
