vm-pop3d dead but subsys locked

have try changing daemon to 20 or 30 doesnt work at all.

try to start with xinetd, it also doesnt load.

please assist

Not sure exactly what you are trying to say, but don't try to start vm-pop3d with xinetd. DA expects it to be started via the /etc/init.d/vm-pop3d file or a link to that file from /etc/rc?.d/*vm-pop3d. Try the command '/etc/init.d/vm-pop3d restart' it should first try to stop the daemon then start it, ignore any errors trying to stop it.
