Hello,

Today I've just received the server and DA Admin Team has installed DA Panel on this.
It's working, with somes bugs which I try to resolve.

But.. This is ... so crazy!!

I hope someones can help me. thanks by advance.

1) service vm-pop3d doesn't start. The service is always "stopped" in the service statut screen on DA.
Under SSH, when I start the service manually (# /usr/sbin/ipop3d/) : he is started but not working, and in DA he's always "stopped".
In the linux logs, I see only "Service started...Service failed....Service Started...Service failed..." but no details...
SMTP is OK.

2) Admin user for MySQL Server...what is it ?
Before the installation of DA, it was "root"
But now, when I'm going to MySQL Server Databasein to my WEBMIN (or in to the phpmyadmin), I can't administrate all of the databases of the differents users : all login/passwords are denied:

webmin MySQL Database Server
MySQL version 4.1.10

Webmin needs to know your MySQL administration login and password in order to manage your database. Please enter your administration username (usually root) and password below.

Login:
Password :

I've tryed the root, the admin of DA, the reseller account, ... => failed
Only the final user (users of resellers) can work, but I don't have access on all databases...just the database of theses final users.

3) How many time to create the NS ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com with DA ? I see all my subdomains who has been created by the users are parked to ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com .. But theses url are not responding. The domain is active since 2 years but never had ns1 & ns2.mydomain.com. This is DA who has created this nameservers. Are you sure they'll working fine ? Because...in the DNS configuration, there is "mydomain.com => ns1.mydomain.com but...I don't understand how theses nameservers will be created on the web.

All the rest is working fine. DA is a very good panel, Thanks to all for your big work!!

and Thanks if you have any solutions for me :)

cordially

OK, i've resolved the second problem with MySQL.
In the config file of mysql (/usr/local/directadmin/conf/mysql.conf) there is the user and password to administrate the mysql database server.

Now I continue on vm-pop3d... lol

Whooa, all is good and working fine ! :)

Big Big thanks to John of DA's support !!

It was a conflict between 2 pop3 deamon.
