Vmware ESXi vm's and directadmin / suphp process hang

Hi,

i'm having issues with virtual servers on ESXi running DirectAdmin with Apache + PHP5 CGI + SUPHP.

Processes randomly hang and the virtual machine needs to be restarted as it uses up all the CPU and doesnt let it go. This always happens with php cgi and suphp and i havent seen it happen with cgi. Anyone else having similar problems?

I guess its more of a vmware related question but maybe someone has had this issue.

So, you say it's bound to suPHP then?

Not necessarely, i'm just saying it always happen when using suphp and php cgi and it hasnt happened with php cli yet.
