Want to drop uebimiau

I recently switched webmail/ to point to Roundcube.
After that I got customer complaing they miss e-mail, those are stored in uebimiau.

Is there an easy way to convert the uebimiau .eml files back to the Maildir structure?

Easy is in the eye of the beholder.

You'll need to create the Maildir directory structure counterparts to the Uebimiau folders the users have created, and then move the individul .eml files to those directories.

I will give it a try and moved the content for the mailaddress to:
.INBOX.Oldwebmail of the accounts Maildir.

Hopefully this works! (Awaiting confirmation of the customer.)

I currently still offer the uebimiau on an other Alias.
Is there a nifty trick to make uebimiau mail a "view only" interface and stop downloading(c.q. copying) new mails?

Check uebimiau's configs. Perhaps, it can use IMAP protocol.

I found the imap thingy, great!
Wish I could disable it, but raahh to customers that wish to keep it
