Warning: The system load

Sometimes I receive a message to the e-mail :

A new message or response with subject:
Warning: The system load average is 13.49
has arrived for you to view.

What is required me to check? Where and how?
Should I be concerned?
What is the normal load?

It just means something was using alot of cpu. You can check the process monitor in directadmin to see if it is still happening or not.

You should change some of the default settings. I dont think they are ideal at all.

Your system load average as shown when you made that screenshot is now much lower. Only you can know if the current load is good or not; there are too many variables for any outsider to know.

If you don't know enough about server administration to understand something as simple as where in the output you posted you can see the server load, you might be well served by hiring an administrator.
