Hi guys, this is my first post here and I would really appreciate any assistance. I'm very new to web development and was looking for a shortcut to create a Contact Us page for my website in which I would be able to actually receive emails from people if they decided to contact me through my contact us form page. Simfatic Forms (https://simfatic.com/) didn't end up working out and now my site is out of order.

I need help getting my website working again, please :(. My website is http://arifb.myweb.cs.uwindsor.ca/portfolio/html/index.html and if you look at the tab my icon is still visible so at least that's still working.

Thank you ??

Looks like you probably don't have your permissions right. I can't see any of your pages, I see forbidden. I'm assuming that your a CS student at the university, as that's the DirectAdmin server for that department. (I know I helped write some of the scripts for it and rewrite the login system for the department.) Is this for yourself or for a project? If your having trouble check with your prof or if Rob is still there in CS check with him.

Thank you but I also can't see any of my pages as they're all forbidden. I already checked if the permissions were ok before I posted it here and that's not the problem. And I sent an email to Dr. Kent right now.

Humm, did you upload your site into:

/home/airfb/domains/arifb.myweb.cs.uwindsor.ca/public_html/portfolio/html/

You didn't remove or change the "public_html" part?

You don't include public_html in your URL. When you uploaded your website did you remove the "public_html" folder? The path to your web root should be:

/home/airfb/domains/arifb.myweb.cs.uwindsor.ca/public_html/

Which is the root of your URL:

If that folder was removed and you didn't upload your files into that folder, your web site will be broken till you fix it. Have you talked to your prof or Robert (or whoever is there to help) in CS IT Services?

No I did not remove it. And thank you for following up on my email.

Any .htaccess present in the public_html folder? If yes, what is it's content?
No there isn’t

There is no index.* (which is index.html or index.shtml or index.php) in there either, so here it's logical this will give you a 403.
Also no .htacces in the html directory? And is an index.html with content present in the html directory?
