Website Updates loading only to Admin

I'm having issues uploading changes to my website. When I use My Network Places to upload, it takes about 3-4 hours, and only goes to the direct admin area, not to the web. I can access it on the direct admin, and shows what it's supposed to; I did a source code on the pages, and everywhere it's supposed to say http, it says ftp. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this, and where the problem may lie? By the way, I use office publisher to design and update my website.

For starters, all your webpages/files need to go into public_html, this is the only place that people using the Internet can access. Post any problems you have after this.
