Ok here is the problem,

Moved new website over to DirectAdmin and we try and goto the website and it wont come up we get this message

"Hey, it worked !
The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website.
If you can see this page, then the people who own this website have just installed the Apache Web server software and the Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) successfully. They now have to add content to this directory and replace this placeholder page, or else point the server at their real content.

ATTENTION!
If you are seeing this page instead of the site you expected, please contact the administrator of the site involved. (Try sending mail to <webmaster@domain>.) Although this site is running the Apache software it almost certainly has no other connection to the Apache Group, so please do not send mail about this site or its contents to the Apache authors. If you do, your message will be ignored.
The Apache online documentation has been included with this distribution.
Especially also read the mod_ssl User Manual carefully.

Your are allowed to use the images below on your SSL-aware Apache Web server.
Thanks for using Apache, mod_ssl and OpenSSL!"

But if you got to the website IP address it works fine. Don't know what the problem is. Thanks to anyone that helps.

DNS Resloves FINE

Also here is the DNS Information that show up fine.

Domain Type Class TTL Answer
hitekwebhosting.com. A IN 14400 69.89.105.111
hitekwebhosting.com. NS IN 14400 ns6.hitekwebhosting.com. hitekwebhosting.com. NS IN 14400 ns5.hitekwebhosting.com.
ns5.hitekwebhosting.com. A IN 14400 69.89.105.111
ns6.hitekwebhosting.com. A IN 14400 69.89.105.112

When I look at hitekwebhosting.com I see a DirectAdmin placeholder, which means you need to upload your site.

So either you resolved your problem, or you're looking at data cached in your browser; if you believe the problem is the latter, try clicking on reload or refresh in your browser.

If you've already uploaded your site and the problem isn't that your browser is caching old data, then make sure you've got your site uploaded to the right place (the public_html directory) and if your site doesn't have ain index.html file, then you must delete the one that's in public_html by default.

Thanks,

Thanks for the info lol we just finished the restart and lol it works so just need a restart lol. But thanks for the response.

Yes, now we're just getting an error that there's no index.html file.

Still doesn't work right

Now when you put in www before the domain it brings the apache page back up so now what.

Website still wont come up

Now it doesn't matter if you have the www or not it still wont come up. This is really not a good thing since we have 47 servers that we would like to migrate over to directadmin instead of plesk.

I see the site fine both with and without the www.

You may have a dns caching issue with your isp.

i had the same problem - very frustrating

after moving one domain from one user to another - when there was a www before a domian i got:

"Hey, it worked !
The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website.
...."

without www it worked fine

so i thought i did something wrong and moved the domain back - and here was the same problem, than deleted and created it again, the same problem, reset server...

than i opened it through www.proxify.com and it worked fine with or without www...

i had enough of it and went to sleep - now it seems fine working with www and without it

the onley problem is that i had paied traffic (advertising) to that domain and i am not sure if visitors saw my website or:

"Hey, it worked !
The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website.
...."

so my question: when this happenes the next time: how can i change "Hey, it worked !
The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website.
...." page with some reditrect page? I couldn't find "Hey, it worked !
The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website.
...." index.html

You'd have to figure out why you're seeing a "Hey it worked" page. Since DirectAdmin doesn't display that page on new domains, my guess is you've deleted it from the old server and the hits were still being directed there. If so, then the answer is to build the redirect on the old server instead of deleting the account.

HITEK, this is most likely your answer as well.
