Hello, i just shifted my WHMCS website from cPanel to DirectAdmin. After Migration the website works fine, no issues. But when i try to install LiteSpeed from their official command :
bash <( curl https://get.litespeed.sh ) TRIAL
After installation, the last output is something like PHP 7.3 is installed, then the command is stuck, no more output for 30+ minutes and also command not killed or finished.
After 30+ minutes my SSH got disconnected, then I checked WHMCS I've facing a lot of issues. First, while installation of LiteSpeed was running then the subdomain redirects to main domain and after installation is complete and the last output was shown then WHMCS unable to login. WHMCS unable to login means client and admin are unable to login into WHMCS clientarea/admin area. When they enter their login details and clicks on login then they returns to the same login page without any error or messages. I have tried it 3 Times 3 days, as my website is a production use website and have active users so i always perform these things at night time. The VPS is fresh and CentOS is installed.
First Attempt with CentOS 7.7,
Installed DirectAdmin, followed guide to install PHP 7.4 , 7.2 , 7.1 and 7.0 , Installed LiteSpeed. Then At Night 12:00AM i migrated by website from cPanel to DirectAdmin using the guide https://www.snel.com/support/bulk-migration-from-cpanel-to-directadmin/ . Now WHMCS clientarea haves issues i have been checking forums for almost 2 hours and didn't got any solution so pointed back to my old cpanel ip.
Next Attempt Next Day, This day i done everything manually. Installed DirectAdmin and PHP versions and LiteSpeed. and created a User in DirectAdmin then logged in as user, created the subdomain, created the database. Imported the Database via mysql and it was imported successfully then extracted whmcs files in subdomain folder. Again the same issue, can't login to admin area and clientarea so pointed my website back to the old cpanel ip.
Next Attempt Next Day, Installed DirectAdmin and PHP Versions but forget to install LiteSpeed. Followed the migration guide which i mentioned above, Migration successfully. Website is working fine. WHMCS is logging in perfectly everything was fine. So i thought why it works now, so i was checking every option and i got that LiteSpeed isn't installed. So I have trying to install LiteSpeed, ran the command and while command was running i checked my website now the subdomain clients.mydomain.com redirects to mydomain.com , after the command ran and the last output PHP Version 7.3 is installed shown and the command stuck i checked my website now the subdomain works fine but clients.mydomain.com gives me an error "Oops an error occured" i checked forums and got the solution to clear cookies. Then i changed webserver from LiteSpeed to Apache and build the apache. Now it works fine, whmcs is able to login.
