Hi there.

While looking through the logs in errortaskq.log i happened to notice a lot of the following:

Unable to lstat /home/$username/Maildir : No such file or directory

I had a look at a random account and as stated the Maildir folder does not exist, however there is an imap folder, in which is a folder for the domain name, inside of which are the email accounts, inside of those is a Maildir directory, as follows:

/home/blah/imap/blah.com/blah_address/Maildir

Now the weird thing comes in that on another of our servers the Maildir directory does exist in the home directory. Any thoughts on the matter? Is it a change in dovecot?

Version Information:
Affected Server:
Apache 1.3.34
DirectAdmin 1.27.5
Exim 4.60
dovecot 1.0.beta7

Reference Server:
Apache 1.3.37
DirectAdmin 1.27.5
Exim 4.50
dovecot 1.0.alpha5

Cheers for any replies

Jimmy

Hi Lads

Sorry for wasting time, figured out that the Maildir being created in the home directory is for the default user, every other user's Maildir is created in the imap folder.

I have a lot of these messages in the log to...
Does this mean I just can ignore the messages, or should I do anything to change the settings?

Thanks for any reply
