What apache/server configuration change is need to accept HTTP 1.1 requests?

The server is only accepting HTTP 1.0 requests, but is not accepting 1.1 requests. What do I need to do or change in the server/apache configuration so HTTP 1.1 requests are also accepted?

Running 1.40.1 on CentOS 5
