What are owners and permissions supposed to be?

I have a vanilla DA setup and I'm migrating from one provider's DA setup to my own. I've been using lftp with a few flags to copy the data over from the provider's servers to my own. In doing so, the owner of all files has been changed to ftp and I'm not sure whether or not the permissions have been mangled too.

Is there a script somewhere that goes through and corrects file ownerships/permissions based on DA conf, reseller and user configs?

If not, is there a document somewhere that describes what the owners and permissions should be so I can go and fix them by hand?

You really should be using the backup system and then you don't have to worry about permissions.

In this case, I don't think that would work because on the old provider's system there were three domains under one user. In this new setup, one of the three domains is under a different reseller. Wouldn't a user based backup try to restore all to one user?
