What may have changed usersdir setting

DirectAdmin worked without any problem till today. I wasn't able to log in since the page was refreshing without any errors, luckily I've found the solution here on the help section.

usersdir setting was missing from configuration file. Restoring it solved my problem!

However, I've not upgraded DA recently and I've not touched that file before that problem occurred! Any idea about what may have caused it?

In directadmin.conf file. As suggested here (http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=179) I was missing that setting, as soon as I restored it, DA started working again.
