Hello, ive just sucessfully installed DA and been told I can log in here:

84.234.26.146:2222

Its given me an admin name and password but I cant see where to type it.

U could ask the dedicated/colocated party ( in ur case i think http://netrino.co.uk/ )
and ask them why ur server/DA is unreachable.

Interesting idea.

What makes an IP# not propagate instantly?

Some routers and switches, if an IP# has been moved between ports, won't find the server at that IP# until after the arpcache has timed out and been renewed.
