Why is the crap installed on my server?

A week ago httpd was down and i had to kill of all the varnish processes and restart apache.

Tonight i find the same problem;

I already email john about this a week ago, NO REPLY!

I want this crap off my server. Why is it installed?

I did not install it nor do i want it!

Stop the insanity with the garbage! Iv already had 12hrs of downtime because of it!

I want this thing UNINSTALLED! STOP INSTALLING CRAP ON OUR SERVER THAT TAKE THE WHOLE BLOODY SYSTEM DOWN!

Im so pissed, no reply from john and its installed on my box. RIDICULOUS!

I don't believe Varnish can be installed from official DirectAdmin sources. Perhaps you are using a 3rd party plugin?
 
Mate i did not install it, it installed as of the last update. Can someone tell me how to remove this bloody thing?

John is ignoring me, what kind of customer support is this?

Iv been a DA supporter for 5yrs and he cant reply?

@pucky, Varnish is not installed by DirectAdmin. So this is your responsibility, it has nothing to do with any updates from DirectAdmin.
 
They are right, it's nothing from Directadmin and is not provided nore updated by Directadmin.

From what you posted in message #4 it looks like you managed to remove it and http is working again, correct?

You either got hacked, or you installed it at some point.
 
Varnish stores data in virtual memory and leaves the task of deciding what is stored in memory and what gets paged out to disk to the operating system. This helps avoid the situation where the operating system starts caching data while it is moved to disk by the application.
