What types of stuff should DA be working on

In another thread I have said
I would much rather see DA work on other stuff that users will actually use from within the control panel
as opposed to working on stuff like webmail with is not really handled from the control panel. Then I was told and asked

I think you bring up a valid point...what kind of things do you think should be added to the CP or changed?

I think focus should be on what the end users, my customers, would need. I do not need a control panel for server administration. I don't need a control panel for setting the time, for setting the hostname, for handling the mail queue, or number of other things. I need something that my customers can use without having to ask me to do it, things that affect them individually. I think we need new ideas on what to offer customers. Get them to think about things they have not thought of yet. I want to be able to say "With DA you can do this and this and this and that. You cannot do that with any other control panel." Maybe a simple billing system for resellers. But something that will set us all apart from the cPanel hosts.

I don't want an admin control panel. I can get that with the free Webmin. I want a control panel that is mostly customer oriented. So what are some things that customers may want but don't know it yet?

Floyd, I applaud your comments and I agree with you. The reason why love and use DirectAdmin is that it doesn't try to take over my machine. It does what it needs to do: provide a front-end for customers and manage my resources that are allocated to customers.

I've had the opportunity to administrate a few cPanel boxes (I'm a sysadmin guy and sometimes perform work for other people). cPanel has a bazillion scripts which try to "help" users administrate their servers. But, of course, whenever any of these scripts break, it's hell.
