What's the best way to set up my domain?

Hi all,

I'm trying to find the best way to set up my machines, so please bear with me.

I am setting up a shared/reseller hosting environment with billing system. The domain I will be using this with is foo.com . I have two servers, one which I would like to use as ns1.foo.com, and one which I would like to use as ns2.foo.com. I have already enabled the Multi Server Setup on both machines and can verify that they connect.

These are fresh installs. I haven't done anything aside from change admin settings, install INSTALLATRON, assign available IP addresses to both boxes, and set up Reseller Packages.

Right now I've been logging into the DA admin panel by going to its IP. I want to define www.foo.com and be able to upload our site. I have also purchased a copy of AWBS and want to install it on its own subdomain, billing.foo.com.

I'm having troubles understanding how to set this up. Should I create a new reseller to do all this or am I thinking about it totally wrong?

I've been reading all day on how to set up everything, so my mind is a little tired. I'm going to read more about the documentation tomorrow, but if someone could point me in the right direction for now, it would be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

You've got a choice.

You can use the "user" section of your admin login, or create a new user under the reseller section of your admin login, or create a new reseller and then either use the user section under the reseller, or create a new user under that reseller.

DA doesn't care.

Personally, I set up everything under resellers. And I set up a reseller for each package I offer, so I can have custmized welcome emails.

Jeff,

How do you 'cope' with the issue that each reseller also needs a domain?
