Whats wrong?

I have been using DirectAdmin for years now and have many licenses.

I have always spoken with John from Technical support with issues and always found him to be extremely helpful and always replied within 24 hours to any questions I have.

I recently emailed John about a problem I had and never received a reply which is very unusual, so I sent him the same email again a couple of days later.

When I didn't receive a reply again I mentioned it to Mark from sales by email in another conversation I was having about activating another license, however once I mentioned about not receiving a reply from John I didn't hear a response from him either.

So a couple of days later again I sent another email to both sales and support asking why I have received no replies and if there is a problem.

I have absolutely no idea if I have done something wrong? If a new procedure has been introduced? or if there is a problem they are having but it is worrying me a lot as my whole business currently relies on DirectAdmin and I'm getting no replies from anyone.

I was wondering if anyone might know if anything is wrong at their end and/or if they are not receiving replies themselves?

Keen to hear from you all.

Many thanks.

DirectAdmin company - no replying?

The same for me - I just sent several questions regarding invoices to DirectAdmin team - support, billing, sales - ane didn't get any reply after more than a week.

What does happen? Hope DirectAdmin will not end like LxAdmin and LxLabs before few months... ?

DirectAdmin staff has always noted in the past that they respond to all emails they receive. They've pointed out in the past that it's possible they're not receiving your emails or that you're not receiving their replies.

Have you tried contacting them using the DirectAdmin Safe Submit page?

Hi David,

We did get your email and have been getting your emails.

However, I've found the issue to be that our server is being blocked from sending mail to yours. I was able to telnet to your mail server from other locations, but not from this box.

Check your firewalls to ensure that our IP (216.194.67.119) is not being blocked, which would be why we're not able to get our replies through to you.

I was able to manually send you a few emails using telnet from our test box, but again, that's in a different location.

We *always* reply within 24 hours. If you don't get a response, try emailing from a different location (like gmail)

Hi John,
I knew it was unusual to not get a reply from you. Thanks very much for clearing that up.

I'm unsure why my firewall was blocking your server, it works on a rate limit and for some reason your server must have triggered it, I might have to review that policy.

Thanks again for clearing that up and i'll speak to you via email again.
