When support for debian 5 64 bit?

Hi,

my server provider give me a server with debian 5 64 bit and directadmin (the last version). Something don't work fine. For example the backups are not created (without error message, simply the backup does not work).

I see in the directadmin server requirments that the debian 5 64 is in beta testing.

When will be stable?

There's probably something else going on, I got Debian 5 64 bit and no problems, backups are working.
