Where did the bandwidth go?

Hello,
I got a customer who is confused about his bandwidth.
He has a total BW of 10240.
He's used about 8900 already and he wants to know where all that bandwidth went. I checked awstats and webalizer and they both show the same, about 2900 went to his domain (he only has 1). So how can I tell where the rest went?

There are a few possibilites as to what's going on here:

1) Bandwith can be used up in other locations including FTP, outoing email and the DA control panel usage (including file uploads and downloads).

2) The account wasn't reset this month. Check his "User History" to see if there is an entry for January. If not, then his account has not been reset this month. If you have not done so, update to DA 1.23.4. To reset his account, type:

echo "action=reset&value=[b]username[/b]&type=user" >> /usr/local/directadmin/data/task.queue
If you do reset his account, you can put in a rough estimate of how many bytes he's used so far in the /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/username/bandwidth.tally file so that he's close to what he should be.
