Where do I find the error log?

Apache logs are located at /var/log/httpd/domains
If your domain name is example.com, the full path to the error log file should be /var/log/httpd/domains/example.com.error.log

Can I access this using the DirectAdmin File Manager?

Do I have to be on a unix machine for this? I'm on Windows Vista.

Would also like to mention I've only got a 30 day trial account activated at the moment, shared JVM. Tomcat 6.0, JDK 1.6

K I think I found the error log and am getting this error:

[Thu Aug 27 00:09:10 2009] [error] (120006)APR does not understand this error code: proxy: read response failed from 127.0.0.1:9560 (localhost)
[Thu Aug 27 00:09:10 2009] [error] proxy: read zero bytes, expecting 10 bytes

Any ideas?

This doesn't look like a server configured with standard DA install. Are you sure you are in the right forum?

I have set up a server through javaprovider.net, 30-day free trial on their Shared JVM service. On their help page, they have a link to this forum, and I am using the DirectAdmin client.

That is all I know. Is there another forum I should be posting on?

You might have better luck contacting your service provider.
Standard DA install does not include java at all.
