Where does spam assasin store spam?

where does spam assasin store spam?

ive got a spam folder placed in squrril mail but nothing gets put into their.

jsut wondering where it goes when it gets blocked, does it stored on the box inside a txt file on the server some where? I dont have it set to delete the spam so it should be some where :s-

there is an option in the DA interface that allows you to manage SpamAssassin.

When u click on SpamAssassin under Email Setup there is a radio button that would allow you to delete spam if detected.

yeah i new that hehe. i wanted it to store it in the spam folder but it doesnt. is there anywhere else where it would end up.

You can choose the radio button called 'Send the spam to the appropriate users's spam folder' given in the spamassassin Setup of a perticular domain.By doing so all the spam mail's will get delivered in the Spam folder of the webmail.

I seem to be having the same problem, and I have that radio button set to send spam to appropiate users spam box. But those boxes are empty.

How are you checking the spam folder? What program are you using? Is it set to use IMAP?
