Where to look for logged CB2 update errors or warnings?

While running Custombuild update yesterday I did see one error on the screen, like this:

ERROR!
You probably have to install the development version of the Python package
for your distribution.

So I would like to know where Custombuild update errors or warnings like this are logged.

I hope I'm wrong, but custombuild does not log errors... so you'd simply install the development version of the Python package
for your distribution.
