Where's all the disk space gone?

A customer is confused as to where all the disk space has gone for his site.
They have an IPB forum and a few other files (images) I believe.

I have worked out that all files (including stats and logs) is:
Disk usage of ALL files: 20MB
SQL: 97MB
Email: 2MB

How come the disk usage according to DirectAdmin then is 1672.7MB!!

Try running a du -hs on the users directory. What is the filesize it reports?

What does repquota say compared to the other sources?
